A group that chases the same opponent can still lose the round if nobody collects the body, covers the walk home, or watches the cage. Agree on the job that is empty right now.
Jobs you can hand off
| Duty | Immediate job | Hand it off when |
|---|---|---|
| Hunter | Pressure an opponent near support | A Carry prompt appears |
| Carrier | Collect the body and walk to your jail | The opponent is in the cage |
| Escort | Watch the route, not a distant fight | Delivery is finished |
| Defender | Repair threatened bars and watch rescuers | Another wall starts breaking |
| Rescuer | Help open the enemy cage from outside | Freed allies have a way out |
These overlap. A defender can step out to cover a delivery that has reached the entrance. A hunter can drop a bad chase to repair. The names are coordination, not selectable classes or exclusive ability sets.
Small groups
With two players, split pickup and protection as soon as the opponent goes down. At the jail, check whether both of you are needed on the bars before you leave again. Do not keep hunting while prisoners hit an empty cage.
With three players, one person can watch the base while the other two finish a capture. Rotate that watch when the pressure moves. If several allies are jailed, the group can switch to one rescue instead of keeping the old assignments.
Short calls work: "I carry," "watch the other wall," or "help this bar." They name a task and a place.
Leave a job out loud
Look at the captured display and at both bases. If your jail is under escape pressure, repair matters more than another chase. If your free team is shrinking, stay with support and pick a rescue you can reach.
Standing next to a carrier without watching opponents is not an escort. Standing on a secure wall while another section breaks does not cover the jail. Before you walk away from a duty, say so, so someone else can take it.
If a capture failed, ask where the chain broke: an uncollected body, a lone carrier, an empty cage, or freed allies with nowhere to go. Put someone on that missing job. The escort guide and the outnumbered guide cover those two follow-ups.
